The '''''Allegro''''' in F minor ([[TH]] 203 ; [[ČW]] 336) is a student work, written in 1863 or 1864 during Tchaikovsky's years at the [[Saint Petersburg]] Conservatory, probably as a compositional exercise <ref name="note1"/>.

There is one unfinished movement (F minor, 173 bars), which appears to have been intended as a piece in sonata form, completed up to the start of the development section.
