	[[Anatosha]], golubchik! I received your letter yesterday with two other enclosures. I'm just writing you a few words to tell you that I've decided to leave here on the 13th or 14th in the general direction of [[Moscow]]. On the way I want to call at the Maslovs' village, where [[Taneyev]] is living, and where they are keen to invite me. I'll be in [[Moscow]] around the 20th. I see from your letter that my trip won't interfere with your plans. So, wait for me, and we'll go together from [[Moscow]] to [[Modest]] and [[Kamenka]].		[[Anatosha]], golubchik! I'll write to you once or twice along the way, and I'll notify you by telegraph of the date and time of my arrival in good time. Varya's wedding is tomorrow; a large throng of guests is expected. The heat is as hot as I can remember. The grain harvest is magnificent, but, judging by the barometer, a thunderstorm is to be expected, and I'm very much afraid that it will hamper the grain harvest. I've come to love the ''fields'' awfully, and I tremble for the well-being of every ear. Kisses. Until we meet. 	Анатоша, голубчик! Получил вчера твоё письмо со вложением двух других. Пишу тебе лишь несколько слов, чтобы сообщить, что я решился 13-го или 14-го отсюда выехать по направлению к Москве. По дороге я хочу заехать в деревню к Масловым, где живёт Танеев и куда меня очень зовут. ~~Окало~~ 20 числа буду в Москве. Вижу из твоего письма, что поездка моя не помешает твоим планом. Урожай хлеба великолепный, на, судя па указанию барометра, следует ожидать грозы, и я очень боюсь, как бы она не помешала уборке хлеба. Я стал ужасно любить ''поля'' и дрожу за благополучие каждого колоса. Целую. До скорого свиданья.
