	My dear [[Anya]]! Returning from [[Moscow]], I found your ingenious (I don't know what else to call it) work hung up and properly arranged. I had high expectations that it would be an impressive thing — but its actual impressiveness is at another level altogether. It is incredible! I cried out with delight. But who knows what is in the depths of his soul. In any case, I feel very sorry for him too. How sweet all the other children are! I thank you again, and again, and again for the gift. By God, I'm cannot even tell you how enchanted I am. And how glad I am that I threw out the vulgar plush. Indeed, it looks so much more beautiful with this sackcloth. I kiss your hands. 	Милая моя Аня! Возвратившись из Москвы, нашёл уже твоё гениальное (иначе я не могу его назвать) произведение повешенным и устроенным как следует. Я многого ожидал от эффекта этой вещи, — но далеко был от степени эффектности" которую в действительности она собой являет. Это что-то удивительное! Я кричал от восторга. Особенно вечером изумительно красиво. Как я бы хотел, чтобы ты это видела! Неужели ни раз у ты у меня в эту зиму не будешь?		Милая моя Аня! Ужасно жаль её. Петя же, по-видимому, совершенно весел и доволен. А впрочем, кто его знает что там в глубине души у него. Во всяком случае, мне его очень жаль тоже. Какие милые все остальные дети! Ещё, ещё и ещё благодарю тебя за подарок. Ей-Богу, я не в состоянии высказать тебе, до чего я очарован. И как я рад, что отказался от пошлого плюша. Именно с этой дерюгой он так красиво выходит.
