Et d’ailleurs, n'est[-]ce pas à moi de Vous supplier à genoux de ne pas refuser Votre précieux concours à ce concert? Sans parler de Votre admirable talent reconnu par tout le monde et que j'ai eu la chance {{sic|d'apprecier|d'apprécier}} {{sic|moi-même|moi-même}}, — n'est-ce pas Vous, qui la première avez tenté de propager ma musique à Paris? Croyez Vous donc que je suis capable d'oublier ce que je Vous dois?

Non! Je suis sûr, qu'au fond du cœur, Vous ne m'en croyez pas capable et que si Vous m'avez {{sic|ecrit|écrit}}, c'est que Vous saviez que quelques lignes de Vous me feraient le plus grand plaisir.
