Думал наврать и объяснить лёгким нездоровьем, что не поеду в Москву в этот раз, а оказалось, что судьба и в самом деле послала мне нездоровье. Вот уж 3-ий день, что я совсем болен. Вчера был сильный жар и бред. И думать нечего ехать в Москву. Очень буду рад, если вы меня навестите воскресенье, а впрочем, скоро в Москве будем ежедневно видеться.

Я с ''Оомом'' на словах сговорился, что пошлю ему вместе с проектом заглавного листа ''оттиск'' романсов. А потому ты напрасно не исполнил моей просьбы. Кстати! ещё в первом письме ты мне возвестил посылку корректуры остальных романсов: ''где же она''? До сих пор я ничего не имею. 5 романсов (т. е., при коих находились рукописи) я прокорректировал, но не посылаю потому, что хочется все разом послать, во избежание недоразумений. Жду.

Я получил от какой-то баронессы ''Senfft von Pilsach'' письмо с просьбой от неё и от имени ''Бюлова'' пожертвовать что-нибудь на памятник ''Раффа''. Я очень сочувствую этому и прошу тебя послать ''Боте и Боку 100 мар[ок]'' от меня. Он, как пишет баронесса, сбирает приношения. Я уже ей отвечал, что выслал деньги, а потому сделай это сейчас же, прошу тебя.
