They say that the scene when he arrived and entered the room with the coffin was heartrending. The news about [[Sasha]] is quite reassuring. If only they have the strength to endure the grief, then we could actually rather celebrate poor ''[[Tanya]]''. What a life she had ahead of her!!! Сегодня вернулся в Майданово. Непомерно счастлив и доволен, что могу от дохнуть от массы всякого рода сильных впечатлений, испытанных в Москве. После последнего моего письма я дирижировал ещё 2 раза. Каждый раз перед началом у меня бешеный страх и ужасно, начиная с половины увертюры, страх проходил и дальше уже я дирижировал с большой уверенностью. Второй раз мне было оттого труднее, что я находился под сильным впечатлением известия о трагическом конце ''Тани'', и поэтому был очень нервен.
