Баташа дорогая! Сейчас я послал Софье Ивановне конец 4-го действия. Не могу выразить до чего я устал от напряженной работы!!! Вы тоже, вероятно, от корректур устали, но всё-таки я ''умоляю Вас'' усердно корректировать до моего приезда. А приеду я на будущей неделе и уж целые дни буду корректурами заниматься. Завтра целый день буду гулять. Потом нужно ещё увертюру сделать (она у меня только в проекте) и ещё кое-чем заняться...

Баташа! умоляю вас с Тоничкой приехать в субботу вечером! Дайте знать, приедете ли?
