On Monday 6 July I am going to [[Batum]], by steamer to [[Odessa]], then on to [[Aachen]]. My address in the meantime: ''Aachen, poste restante''. Вероятно, Вы получили письмо моё, в котором я уведомлял Вас, что вследствие телеграммы от больного друга моего Кондратьева из Ахена я принуждён покинуть Боржом и ехать в Ахен. Если письмо это не затерялось, то, вероятно, Вы уже простили меня за беспокойство, которое я принуждён причинить Вам покорнейшей просьбой вручить подателю сего письма, Алексею, бюджетную сумму, в коей неожиданным образом я стал теперь очень нуждаться. Итак, дорогая моя, умоляю Вас извинить меня и исполнить мою просьбу! Алексею я дал инструкцию, как распорядиться этими деньгами. В понедельник 6 июля я еду в Батум, пароходом в Одессу, оттуда в Ахен. Адрес мой пока: ''Aachen, poste restante''.

С дороги и из Ахена буду писать Вам.

Я очень, очень расстроен и печален. Но делать нечего—нужно расстаться с восхитительным, симпатичнейшим Боржомом. Дай Вам Бог всякого благополучия, дорогая моя!
