But, for God's sake, tell me what I must reply to his questions: is there a continuation, how long is the story, when can you send the rest, etc. etc. In the event that ''[[Berg]]'' considers that something needs to be shortened, should I send the manuscript to, or do you have another? Please, [[Yuliya Petrovna]], reply with the answers to all these questions as soon as possible. It is my fervent wish that you continue "''Tasya''" with the greatest possible energy, so that you can reap the fruits of your labours as soon as possible. At the 7th performance, in [[Petersburg]], where they are constantly fighting over opera tickets, the theatre was more than half empty!!!! This upsets me greatly. What is the matter? I cannot understand. Could the reason really be the hostile reviewers who furiously abused "''[[The Enchantress]]''"? But even before this I had never had anything but abuse from these gentlemen.
