Утомившись в тщетной двухнедельной погоне за причитающимися мне по неизреченной милости гг. Торлецкого, Алексеева и Третьякова 200 рублями и лишившись надежды когда-либо найти возможность получить их от Вас днём, я возьму на себя смелость явиться к Вам сегодня вечером часов около 9[-ти]. Не будете ли Вы так добры приготовить для меня эти деньги, дабы двухнедельная погоня не начала делаться трёхнедельной? Если же Вас не будет дома, то не соблаговолите ли передать их Вашей любезной супруге Анне Леонтьевне? Я именно сегодня весьма в сих деньгах нуждаюсь.

Will you be so kind as to have the money ready for me, so that the two-week pursuit does not run into a third week? If you won't be at home, then could you perchance give them to your lovely wife Anna Leontyevna? It is most important that I have this money today.
