Я очень перед тобой виноват: переводы свои ещё до сих пор я не сделал. Надеюсь, что они не особенно к спеху: во всяком случае, я их сделаю, как только вернусь в Венецию. Благодарю тебя за предложение написать «''Скоболев-марш''» (я на это забыл тебе вовремя ответить), — но не принимаю сего предложения, ибо не могу. Уж больно пошло.

Полагаю, что согласно моей телеграмме, ты выдал Бочечкарову 100 р[ублей]. Брат Толя возвратит тебе их, если не сейчас, то по получении ''поспектакльной платы'', которую ему придётся получить за меня в Петербурге.

Брат уезжает через три дня. Как только провожу его, то в тот же день поеду в Венецию, в коей намерен пробыть месяц по крайней мере. Венеция хороша тем, что тихо там. Здесь мне только оттого хорошо, что я провожу время с братом и Котеком, которого я встретил неожиданно. Мы много с последним играем в 4 руки. Сидим почти безвыходно дома.
