Прости, ради Бога, что опять прибегаю к тебе с просьбой. Потрудись, пожалуйста, послать одного из твоих приказчиков или к ''Соловьёву'' или, ещё лучше, к ''Рассохину'' (на Волхонке) и вели ему купить там полное собрание театральных сочинений ''Ленского'', которые изданы под общим заглавием: «''Театр Ленского''». Затем книгу сию потрудись прислать по известному тебе адресу (''Киевск[ой] губ[ернии], Черк[асского] уезда мест[ечко] Смелу, оттуда в Кам[енку]''). Цену же этой книги припиши к долгам моим.

Пишу тебе наскоро и потому не распространяюсь.

Если ты уже заказал заглавный лист к ''вальсу-скерцо'', то поставлено ли там посвящение: ''Иосифу Иосифовичу Котеку''? это совершенно необходимо. Что касается концерта, то я хочу его посвятить ''Ауэру'', — но, впрочем, об этом ещё поговорим.

Надеюсь, что последнее моё письмо с просьбой переслать 100 р[ублей] А[нтонине] И[вановне] ты получил?

If you've already organised the title page to the ''[[Valse-Scherzo, Op. 34|waltz-scherzo]]'', then could you inscribe the dedication: ''To Iosif Iosifovich Kotek''? This is absolutely necessary. So far as the [[Violin Concerto|concerto]] is concerned, then I want to dedicate it to ''[[Auer]]'', although this still has to be discussed.

I hope that you received my last letter with a request to send 100 rubles to [[Antonina Ivanovna]]?
