Yekaterina Shiroshkina

Paternal aunt of the composer (b. 1783), born Yekaterina Petrovna Chaykovskaya (Екатерина Петровна Чайковская); known after her marriage as Yekaterina Petrovna Shiroshkina (Екатерина Петровна Широшкина).

Yekaterina) was the third child of the composer's grandparents Pyotr Fyodorovich Tchaikovsky (1745–1818) and his wife Anastasiya (b. Posokhova, 1751–?). She married Vasily Parfënovich Shiroshkina (b. 1776), by whom she had two children: Nikolay (b. 1810); and Pyotr (b. 1810).
