Martin Pierre Marsick

Belgian violinist, composer and teacher (b. 9 March 1847 in Jupille-sur-Meuse; d. 21 October 1924 in Paris).
Marsick appeared as the soloist in the first performance in France of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto (though apparently only of the first movement) at a concert conducted by Tchaikovsky at the Châtelet in Paris on 28 February/11 March 1888 [1].
