Милый Модя! С некоторыми подробностями я писал Бобу и просил его письмо переслать к тебе в Клин, а тебе прямо пишу лишь несколько строк. Цель — просить тебя написать мне подробно твои клинские впечатления в ''Париж''. Я решил отсюда проехать через ''Базель'' (где остановлюсь на сутки) в ''Montbeliard'' к M[ademois]elle Fanny, а затем в ''Париж'', который один может до некоторой степени утишить любую тоску, снедающую меня. Там проведу около недели, затем поеду в ''Брюссель'' и оттуда в ''Одессу''. И вообще, пожалуйста, пиши мне, я страшно нуждаюсь в письмах. I've decided to pass through ''[[Basel]]'' (where I shall stop for a day) to ''[[Montbéliard]]'' for Madmoiselle [[Fanny]], and then to ''[[Paris]]'', which might sooth to some extent any melancholy that consumes me.
