Oh, how I pity Aleksey Fyodorov's mother today. My God, I couldn't help my fury! Instead of excellent, entirely rectified plates, I had to make do with new plates engraved from a disgusting copy!!! All that time, energy, and patience were all for nothing. If there's time to give instructions, then have the rest of the numbers from the Suite , even if they are only partly engraved, sent to me using the old plates, so I won't have to swear profusely any more. So much time has been wasted, and everything would have been ready were it not for your foreman's dimwittedness. Gutman telegraphed to say that the concert can be scheduled for the 23rd. Golubchik, write that this is better.

Who will be proofreading the parts? I'm afraid that Dahlgren will be angry with me, and will deliberately do a bad job. Couldn't you entrust the one (I forget his name) who corrected the sextet?
