Non. Tschaikowsky.

After last season, when I was engaged to conduct 4 concerts in America in one go (for 2500 dollars), resulting in a truly major success there, I find Renos current offer almost insolent. Therefore I will reply insolently. Kindly send the following telegram immediately: New York, 154 West 73 Street, Morris Reno. Non. Tschaikowsky. For my part I don't want to make any sort of demands, because generally this year I would prefer not to go to America. The word "no" is entirely sufficient for him to grasp the impertinence of his offer. Please, send the telegram at once. I don't want to write, because I'm afraid my words will be malicious.

Please, send the enclosed note to Gazenklevers store and ask him to send all the items on the list here. I have Laroche staying with me for quite a while, and we want to play piano duets.

Furthermore, send me the score of Beethoven's 4th symphony in B-flat. I'll buy that, and take the 4-handed items on rental.

Here is what has happened concerning the whole tragedy of my watch. The thief was found and he confessed, but for more than three weeks they have not been able to learn from him where the watch is. One by one they arrested a mass of innocent people. Finally the matter has now entered a new phase. The thief has disclosed, and the evidence confirms, that the watch was hidden by the Novikovs (mother and son). This peculiar business is now the talk of the whole of Klin and all the surrounding villages. Don't tell anyone about the Novikovs for the time being.

I'm feeling unwell today. I embrace you.

The investigation into the watch has cost me a great deal of money. I can tell you many interesting things about this business in general.

The investigation into the watch has cost me a great deal of money. I can tell you many interesting things about this business in general.

When are you intending to see Osip Ivanovich? I've sent him a business letter and I'm afraid it won't reach him.
