Мне хочется, чтобы прилагаемая при сем статейка была как можно скорее напечатана в «Моск[овских] вед[омостях]». Чувствую, что ею я оказываю услугу и внимание многочисленным почитателям покойника, — но не знаю, годится ли она в печать и примет ли её M. Н. Катков. Убедительно прошу Вас похлопотать об этом.
