Golubushka [[Anya]]! Pardon my ignorance for not having written; I've been completely denied any time for correspondence. Then again I've been working like a horse the whole time and have done a lot. The weather here is simply astounding, and it's a long while since I've enjoyed a Russian winter like this. We'll see each other soon, because on the 19th I'm leaving for [[Petersburg]]. I'm staying for 2 full days. I ask you to bear in mind that on the 20th you're invited to dinner. God willing we'll go to something at the theatre, and on Saturday 21st too.

I kiss your hands! Bows to Pyotr Ivanovich, Lyubov Petrovna <ref name="note1"/>.
{{right|Yours,}}
