27 March
Paris

Forgive me for writing so haphazardly. I've barely found a moment!

I'm travelling to America by steamer, departing on 18/6 April. My concert here takes place on 5 April/24 March, after which I'm going off somewhere to work in seclusion. In Paris, as always, I'm leading a frenziedly restless life, from which my head is now already spinning. Whatever next!

I've nothing more to write. Kiss Manya and the children for me.

Yours, P. Tchaikovsky
