Представляя мой труд на благоусмотрение Дирекции, я осмеливаюсь покорнейше просить Ваше превосходительство отнестись благосклонно к произведению, которое есть во всяком случае плод упорного и добросовестного труда. Ничем не заслужив до сих пор особенного внимания Вашего превосходительства, я возлагаю все мои надежды лишь на просвещённое сочувствие Ваше к русскому искусству, которое в лице моем имеет одного из преданнейших поборников.<br />
