Her second marriage took place in 1909 to Baron Paul Adolf Leonhard von Ungern-Sternberg (1882–1948), by whom she had two more children: Margareta (1910-1980), and Maria (1912–2002). This marriage was dissolved in 1928, and Tatyana later married for the third and final time to the author Felix Warren Crosse (1892–1975).

I have neither quarreled nor reconciled with Bessel. I offered to give him the revised 2nd Symphony for 200 rubles. He agreed. The contract will be concluded in the sense that I wrote to you from Rome, but he merely asked for a postponement of the obligation to print the parts by October and extend this to 1st January; I agreed to this. I've taken half of the 200 rubles from him; I shall receive the rest upon signing the contract. I have absolutely no idea what you're saying when you ask me if I intend to give him the exclusive rights to my compositions? This question only makes sense in relation to "Romeo". I cannot take back the romances that I sold him? Or "The Oprichnik", which I gave him too. Just because Bessel is clearly a rogue and a swindler, then does it follow that I have to be unscrupulous?

As regards "Romeo", then I'm very sorry that I have to sign the contract before we see each other. I should have liked to had all this explained. In any case, when we come to discuss this overture, I will tell him that Bock told me about his fraudulent act, and I shall in no way consent to give him rights of ownership for Russia unless he agrees to pay me a handsome bounty. I haven't seen Bessel for two weeks. But I shall before I leave. I can say only that: the sooner I rid myself of this viper, the better. He has become so objectionable to me that it simply makes me ill when I see his vile smile, and hear his repulsive squeaky voice.

Until we meet!

For God's sake sort out the 1000 rubles. I'm simply lost without them.

I'm leaving here on Tuesday for two days in Tsarskoye Selo, then on Thursday evening I'm going to Moscow.
