Посылаю тебе корректуру танцев и заглавный лист для «Снегурочки». К сожалению, он слишком велик, — но не может ли твой гравёр сделать его в соответственную величину.

I'm sending you the proofs of the dances and title page for "The Snow Maiden" [1]. Unfortunately it's far too big, but perhaps your engraver can scale it appropriately.

  1. ↑ The Dance of the Tumblers (Act III, No. 13) from Tchaikovsky's music for Ostrovsky's play The Snow Maiden, was published by Jurgenson in May 1873 [O.S.]. This letter is dated on the assumption that Tchaikovsky completed this task before he left Moscow on 25 May/6 June that year.
