Lobynskoye

Lobynskoye (Лобынское) is a village in the Lenin municipal region (Ленинский муниципальный район) of Tula oblast (Тульская область) in the Russian Federation.

During Tchaikovsky's lifetime it formed part of the Tula district (Тульский уезд) and Tula province (Тульская губерния) in the Russian Empire.

Tchaikovsky visited Lobynskoye from 7/19 July to 8/20 July 1890, as a guest of the singer Nikolay Figner, who was to perform the role of Herman in The Queen of Spades.
