Рим 23/11 февр[аля] [18]90 Депешу твою я получил тотчас после отправки моего последнего письма. Ужасно был рад. Я приеду в Петербург, вероятно, 23 числа и останусь там дня четыре или пять, а оттуда прямо в Фроловское. Не пошлёшь ли ты мне часть корректуры в Петербург (Фонтанка, 24) к тому времени. Мне необходимо сделать обстоятельную третью корректуру, и чем раньше начну, тем лучше. Партии артистам нужно по возможности раздать до их отъезда на вакансии. Я думаю, что тебе следует эти партии отправить, как только будет готово, в Петерб[ург] к Христофорову, а он уж пускай рассылает. Мне необходимо будет с тобой повидаться. Или я приеду в Москву для этого, или буду убедительно тебя просить посетить меня во Фроловском. Во всяком случае, до скорого свиданья. Твой П. Ч. |
I received your dispatch [1] immediately after sending my last letter [2]. I'm terribly glad. I'll be coming to Petersburg, probably on the 23rd and staying there for four or five days, and from there directly to Frolovskoye. Will you send some of the proofs to me in Petersburg (Fontanka, 24) by that time. It's essential for me to do the third proofs thoroughly, and the sooner I start, the better. The artists' parts need to be distributed before they leave on their holidays, if possible. I think you should send off the parts as soon as they're ready to Khristoforov in Petersburg, rather than wait for him to request them. It's important that I see you.
