Я принёс Вам либретто для прочтения. Завтра отправляюсь в деревню надолго. Партитура и клавираусцуг оперы будут доставлены Вам приблизительно через месяц Юргенсоном. Вряд ли увижусь с Вами ранее весны. Впрочем не излишним считаю предупредить Вас, что если по поводу постановки моей оперы, когда бы то ни было, Вы бы нашли нужным, чтоб я приехал, то я всегда к Вашим услугам. Адрес мой всегда известен моему брату Анатолию (''живущему на Надеждинской, д[ом] 4, кв[артиры] 4'').

Прощайте дорогой Эдуард Францович. Спасибо Вам за дружеское расположение, которое Вы при каждом свидании мне высказываете. Я ''очень, очень'' дорожу Вашим сочувствием.

The full score and piano reduction of the opera will be delivered to you in approximately one month by [[Jurgenson]]. It's unlikely that I'll see you before the spring. However, I consider it goes without saying that, be that as it may, if you should ever find it necessary for me to come over in connection with the production of my opera, then I am always at your service. My brother [[Anatoly]] always knows my address (''he resides on Nadezhdinskaya, House 4, Apartment 4'').

Farewell dear [[Eduard Frantsovich]]. Thank you for the friendly manner in which you express yourself whenever we meet. I value your sympathy ''very, very much''.
