That's the whole digest of the Kamenkan chronicle. I go to Trostyanka every day, and always alone. Today, for [[Mitya]]'s birthday, everyone is going to [[Verbovka]]. [[Tolichka]]! Из выдающихся фактов произошло следующее: 1) Приезжал сюда маг и акробат, дававший на площади в местечке всвоем собственном балагане представление, на коем и я присутствовал. Это было отвратительно, но. Влад[имир] Анд[реевич] ему сильно протежировал и требовал, чтобы все восхнщались и изумлялись. 2) Был вечер у Бирюковых с ужином, причём не обошлось без попреканий Алекс[андра] Ивановича, что разорительно кормить помещиков, а я, по обычаю, попрекал якобы дурным качеством угощения. 3) Женя сегодня ''совершенно серьёзно'' спросила меня, кто старше: брат Николай или её мать Зина. 4) Мой червячок свил кокону и залег вней. 5) ''Сапоги'' я получил, а платье ещё нет. Вот и вся несложная каменская хроника. Каждый день хожу в Тростянку, и всегда один. Сегодня, по случаю рождения Мити, все едут в Вербовку. Толичка! за совершенным неимением материала и обилием занятий, позволь писать тебе не более одного раза в неделю? Нежно целую и обнимаю. Кланяйся Рубинштейну.
