	Я получил Ваше письмо и сочинения г. Миллера, которые тотчас же и просмотрел и проиграл. Мне грустно, что приходится разочаровать Вас в достоинстве этих сочинений. Они даже не подлежат никакой критической оценке. Это ученические, незрелые попытки, насквозь проникнутые дилетантской претензией' на серьёзное творчество, которые очень странно видеть напечатанными под громким названием ''сонат''. Без сомнения, для того чтобы их написать, нужно было родиться с хорошими музыкальными способностями, и я их не отрицаю в г. Миллере.
