Затем я прошу Вас сделать первую корректуру (переложения всех частей), а также вторую, и за это позвольте Вам тоже предложить 50 р[ублей]. Согласны ли Вы? А засим гонорар гонораром, а кроме того целую Вашу ручку в благодарность за помощь в аранжементе сюиты: если бы не ''спех'', то и остальные 4 части я бы испросил Вас сделать, — но, увы, пришлось из кожи лезть, дабы скорее все было готово и, конечно, я хуже сделал чем бы сделали Вы. Пересматривать Вашу работу не желаю, ибо вполне доверяюсь Вам с Вашим Тоничкой. Спасибо Вам, голубушка!<br />

Then I ask you to do the first proofs (arrangements of all the movements), and also the second, and for this allow me to offer you another 50 rubles. Do you agree? And then there are the royalty fees, besides which I kiss your hands with gratitude for your help in arranging the suite: were it not for the ''haste'', then I would have asked you to do the remaining 4 movements — but, alas, I had to turn myself inside out so that everything was ready as soon as possible and, of course, I did much worse than you would have done. I had no wish to change your work, because I have complete faith in you and your Tonichka <ref name="note2"/>. Thank you, golubshka!<br />
