Сегодня я выслал тебе 15 детских песен. Их желательно было бы издать как можно милее и с картинками, так, чтобы это могло служить роскошным подарком для детей, — а впрочем, как знаешь. Если хочешь, можно присоединить к ним «''Лизочек''». Получил ответ на телеграмму, — но всё-таки не понимаю, отчего ''три'' месяца обратились в ''четыре''. Вероятно, ты мне об этом писал, но письмо пропало. Получил корректуру первых двух частей и теперь исключительно предамся этому занятию. Не бойся! теперь уж надолго не будет нового опуса.<br />

You probably wrote to me about this, but the letter has been lost. I've received the proofs of the first two movements, and will now exclusively immerse myself in this task. Have no fear!
