Потрудись, голубчик, выслать мне сюда 150 р[ублей] сер[ебром].

Извини, что я не могу так скоро, как бы того желал, выслать корректуру «''Фигаро''». Хотя мне подлежит только корректура текста, но я не могу не просматривать и музыку и тут, хотя ошибок очень мало, но всё-таки есть, и не далее как сегодня я нашёл одну очень важную. Думаю, что 2, 3 и 4-е действия я тебе вышлю разом через неделю, и если ты мне обещаешься, что все поправки будут исправлены, то можно, пожалуй, и не делать больше корректур.

Живу здесь очень приятно, тихо, смирно, совсем по-деревенски, однако ж и работаю довольно усердно. Никогда ещё не бывало сочинения более ''гениального'', чем новая сюита!!!! Таково моё всегдашнее самонадеянное отношение к родящимся чадам, но ещё Бог знает, что я скажу через год. Во всяком случае много старания прилагается. Итак пришли мне 150 р[ублей].
