I'll give you the whole ground floor, and I'll move upstairs by the summer. We shall be ''wonderfully'' settled. [[Modya]] will also have splendid accommodation. Простите, я вас надую, т. е. не приеду в субботу, и вот отчего. На будущей неделе будет концерт с моей фантазией, и я должен и хочу быть на репетиции и в концерте. Так как репетиция в ''пятницу'' утром, то я приеду в четверг и останусь три дня в Москве и остановлюсь у вас. Было бы неблагоразумно, ввиду этой поездки, ехать также и в субботу. Во 1-х, хочу немножко обжиться, а во 2-х, ради экономии, и в 3-х, ради сбережения времени для работы надо остаться здесь до будущего четверга. Да наконец, и для моего здоровья, т. е. для моих головных болей, надо несколько дней смирно посидеть у ''себя'' дома.

Первое моё впечатление было некоторое разочарование. Т. е. мне представлялось все убранство дома гораздо роскошнее, чем оказалось. Оно пестро, но как-то неизящно и слегка потёрто. Одним словом, как ''постоянное местопребывание, на всю жизнь'', — этот дом не годится, {{und2|но как дача это великолепно}}. Я вам отдам весь низ, а сам переберусь к лету наверх. Мы ''чудно'' устроимся: Модя тоже будет иметь отличное помещение.

Повар отличный. Прачка будет на днях. Местоположение прелестное — куда лучше Скабеевки. В общем я всё-таки вполне доволен.
