Завтра тебе высылается симфония с поправками; если будет возможно сделать корректуру, то оно было бы отлично. Вообще же она издана прекрасно. Из моих шести пиэс только последняя ещё не переписана. Я это сделаю завтра, а послезавтра вышлю. Сегодня была репетиция «''Бури''», и кажется, что она музыкантам понравилась. Теперь обращаюсь к тебе с просьбой: напечатай, пожалуйста, в следующем № твоего листка эти строки: «''В воскресенье, 2 ноября, на сцене Московского Большого театра состоялось представление оперы «Жизнь за Царя» с г[оспо]жою Меньшиковою в роли Антониды. Певица эта была принята восторженно и удостоилась самых шумных оваций''».

Очень сожалею, что таким мизерным способом сотрудничаю в твоей газете, но решительно не нахожу времени писать статьи.
