Останкинское письмо Ваше уже давно получил. Радуюсь, что Вы дома и отдыхаете от Ваших странствований. Теперь я не хочу Вас тревожить, но мне очень бы хотелось, чтобы Вы навестили меня в ''июле'', около 10-го числа. Так как я усиленно работаю, то самое удобное было бы, если бы Вы приехали ''с почтовым поездом'', провели бы у меня весь вечер, а на другое утро можно и уехать. Таким образом, это и у Вас не отнимет много времени и меня страшно порадует, но не оторвёт от работы. Я кончил свой балет и теперь поеду отдохнуть и освежиться в Петербург, где у меня и дело есть. Возвращусь 3-го или 4-го июля и примусь за оперу. Напишите мне к тому времени, когда, т. е. в какой день, навестите меня? <br />

Now I don't want to disturb you, but I should be very glad if you were able to visit me in ''July'', around the 10th. Since I'm hard at work, then it would be most convenient if you were to come ''with the postal train'', spending the whole evening with me, and then you can leave the next morning. And so this should not take up too much of your time, and I will be terribly pleased, but without interrupting my work. I've finished my ballet and now I'm going to rest and refresh myself in [[Petersburg]], where I have some business. I'm returning on the 3rd or 4th July and setting about the opera. Write to me by that time when, i.e. on which day, you will be visiting me?<br />
