Милый Коля! Я очень был рад получить твоё письмо, хотя жаль, что оно такое коротенькое. Другой раз напиши мне побольше, что ты делаешь, где гуляешь, что учишь? Венеция очень красивый город; вместо улиц здесь все каналы, и в них ездят на лодках. Лошадей здесь совсем нет.

Я совершенно здоров и живу вместе с Толей. Мне очень скучно, что так долго не увижу Модю и тебя. Что, если бы можно было нам опять пожить вместе, как в Палавасе? Целую тебя крепко.
