Модичка! Мне и жаль, что твоя поездка ко мне не состоялась, но, с другой стороны, это вышло удобнее, хотя бы уж­ потому, что мне в среду надо быть в Москве на заседании, а отложить было неудобно. К тому же мне непременно хочется, чтобы ты был на «Манфреде». Тогда мы зацепим и Майданово, т. е. 12 числа поедем сюда и Лароша с собой захватим. В Тифлис я решил ехать немного позднее, приблизительно около 20 марта. Таким образом, ты и в Москве побываешь, и в Майданове. Я же ''должен'' непременно быть в Петербурге на ''будущей'' неделе, или, если это окажется почему-либо невозможно (я боюсь, что репетиции «Манфреда» принудят меня быть в Москве раньше 8 числа, и тогда я не поспею побывать в Питере на той неделе), поедем в Петербург с тобой из Майданова. А впрочем, я тебе на днях дам знать, как это все решится.
Юргенсон и я очень просим Вас пожаловать к Юргенсону, завтра (в четверг в 8 часов вечера). Нам хотелось бы сыграть мой 2-ой квартет по новым печатным партиям, чтобы убедиться, что нет более ошибок. Не откажите, голубчик, помочь в этом деле.
