Kopyliv (Копилів) is a village in the Makariv district (Макарівський район) and Kiev oblast (Київська область) in Ukraine, around 10 kilometres south-west of Kiev.

During Tchaikovsky's lifetime it was named Kopylovo, and formed part of the Kiev district (Киевский уезд) and the Kiev province (Киевская губерния) of the Russian Empire.
