| Isn't it impractical to put addresses on envelopes. For the life of me, I don't know how to address a letter, although I know perfectly well how to drop in on you in person. However, I might be addressing this little letter without the house number.
| |
| | |
| As for the carpets, I'll say that I'm having yours. When the question of my moving was settled, it transpired that I was in terrible need of carpets, and Panya herself advised me to take them away from you without ceremony, claiming that, in fact, you don't need them at all. Be that as it may, now that I have the carpets, I'll only give them up if you come with the police, and even then there'll be a punch up before I part with them. Dear Koka will also be in for a good hiding. So, if you want a scandal, fratricidal strife, and bloodshed, then take action. If you're afraid, then it's better to let me pay the 30 rubles and forget about the carpets. Please, dear Kukarekushka, give in! I beg Olyas forgiveness.
| |
| | |
| Next week I'll send you 80 silver rubles, but in the meantime write me in 2 words: 1) whether you relinquish the carpets? 2) the house number.
| |
| | |
| I kiss my dear Kukarekushka (how do you like this newly invented name) and beg you to answer forthwith.
| |
| | |
| I'm going to Kamenka at the end of the month, but will Kukareka be there or not? I kiss Olya's hands.
