I am extremely happy that you liked the little piece!!! [2]

Congratulate me; today I finished the enormous full score of the ballet [3]. A whole mountain has been lifted off my shoulders.

  2. Tchaikovsky was referring to the piano piece Valse-Scherzo in A major, which he had written for the journal Artist, of which Kruglikov was the editor of the music section. It would be published in the September 1889 edition.
