  1. The autograph was auctioned on 29 November 1985 by Sotheby's, London. Its contents are known only from the following brief description in their sale catalogue: : "Fine autograph letter signed ("P. Tschaikovsky"), to Mlle. Lulu, giving details of his plans for the next weeks, explaining that he is to conduct a concert in honour of Anton Rubinstein in the near future, discussing the problems of organising his concert diary on his forthcoming tour and avowing that if he comes to Frankfurt he will stay with her ("... si je viens à Franckfurt, c'est chez Vous que je descendrai..."), 4 pages, 8vo, with autograph envelope, stamped and postmarked, 29 September/11 October 1889" — quoted in Tschaikowsky-Gesellschaft Mitteilungen, Heft 20 (2013), p. 193.
