Your letter of the 16th probably crossed with mine {{ref|1}}, in which I'd written to you about the photographs. In any event, might I prevail upon you again to order 6 dozen (at 10 silver roubles) cabinets; 2 dozen boudoirs and 2 ''large'' portraits. I embrace you tightly. Utmost respects to Serafima Vasilyevna.

Dear friend Ilya Ilyich!

Your letter of the 16th probably crossed with mine Template:Ref, in which I'd written to you about the photographs. In any event, might I prevail upon you again to order 6 dozen (at 10 silver rubles) cabinets; 2 dozen boudoirs and 2 large portraits. I embrace you tightly. Utmost respects to Serafima Vasilyevna.

P. Tchaikovsky
