За превосходную корректуру «''Пиковой дамы''» не знаю, как и благодарить тебя! В некоторых подробностях я нахожу, что ты слишком педантичен и слишком упорно придерживаешься своих корректорских принципов. Напр[имер], ты решительно не допускаешь, чтобы один и тот же знак повышения или понижения был в такте 2 раза. Я же в иных случаях, для ясности, считаю это не излишним. Есть ещё кое-что, в чем я не совсем с тобой согласен, — но в общем ты ''чудный'' корректор, и я обнимаю тебя горячо за Громадную услугу. Я метрономизировал всю оперу, причём оказалось, что темпы у меня были обозначены очень скупо и очень неверно. Все твои поправки вместе с некоторыми своими (у меня были неправильные гармонии, напр[имер], на стр[анице] 44 внизу), а также со всеми новыми обозначениями темпо, я внёс в один экземпляр, по коему Юргенсон и будет печатать 2-е издание. Но на всякий случай отдам ему и твой экземпляр, где я местами обозначил, почему с тобой не согласен.


За ''секстет'' благодарю заранее, но я его не отдам гравировать, пока не услышу в ноябре в исполнении.

During Tchaikovsky's lifetime it formed part of the Sumy district (Сумский уезд) in the Kharkov province (Харьковский губерния) of the Russian Empire.

A commemorative museum in honour of Tchaikovsky is now situated at Nizy.

During the 1870s Tchaikovsky regularly stayed in Nizy at the family estate of his friend [[Nikolay Kondratyev]], and many of his early compositions were written there.

Nizy, also known as Nyzy (Низи, Низы) is a town in the Sumy district (Сумський район) of Sumy oblast (Сумська область) in Ukraine.

During Tchaikovsky's lifetime it formed part of the Sumy district (Сумский уезд) in the Kharkov province (Харьковский губерния) of the Russian Empire.
