Tchaikovsky completed seven symphonies between 1866 and 1893:

In 1873, he also noted down themes in his diary for a projected Symphony in B-flat major, which were not subsequently developed, and in 1891 and 1892 he made far more substantial sketches for a Symphony in E-flat major, which was abandoned before the orchestration had been completed.
