S[ain]t-Petersbourg 20 Février/4 Mars 1891 Mon cher ami!
A bientôt. |
Saint Petersburg 20 February/4 March 1891 My dear friend!
Making transcriptions of one's own works is something quite impossible, and should never be done. I would like to — but I cannot do it. And besides, I'm overwhelmed by work and worries, and I don't have a moment to myself. See you soon. On the 20th I'll be in Paris and we'll decide what to do about Madame Menter playing at the concert. I embrace you. I'm leaving tomorrow for Frolovskoye. |
