8 августа Поздравляю с возвращением. По существу на твоё письмо не отвечаю, ибо буду с тобой видеться весьма скоро. 13-го числа приеду утром и в этот же день поеду в Курскую губ[ернию] к брату Николаю, а оттуда в Каменку. Пожалуйста, приходи ко мне в гостиницу завтракать (еду я с почтовым, отходящим в 4 часа, ибо курьерский на станции, где нужно сходить, не останавливается). Если же хочешь, чтобы я завтракал в другом месте, то пришли в гостиницу человека с извещением, куда явиться. Ведь дома у тебя кухни теперь, верно, нет? Массу вещей нужно переговорить. 8 August Welcome back. I won't address the substance of your letter [1], because I'll be seeing you very soon. I'm coming on the morning of the 13th, and that same day travelling to brother Nikolay in Kursk province, and thence to Kamenka. Please, come to my hotel for lunch (I'm going on the post train leaving at 4 o'clock, because the express passes by the station where I need to stop). If you would prefer lunch elsewhere, then send a fellow to the hotel with word of where I should turn up. You have a kitchen at your house now, do you not?
