Sketches for a Momento lirico (TH 242; ČW 479) [1] — presumably intended for piano — are found with sketches for the Andante from the Piano Concerto No. 3, on which Tchaikovsky worked between 23 June/5 July and 10/22 July 1893.
They consist of notes of themes in G major (8 bars) and E minor (10 bars), with the Italian title Momento lirico, and the tempo marking "All[egro] mod[erato]".
