For greater reassurance, I'll briefly repeat what I wrote to you in my last letter:

1) I'm leaving tomorrow, the 20th, stopping for a day in Kiev on some business, and then going to Nizy, where I'll arrived on the 22nd.

2) I'll wait there, firstly, for a letter from you, and secondly, for you yourself, so that I can go with you to Modest.

3) If for some reason you don't want to go Modest, but want to go directly to Kamenka, then don't be shy and travel directly to Kiev, where you and I can meet at the "Europe" hotel or meet at the station. In this case, let me know in detail when you're arriving in Kiev.

4) You'll have to spend at most one day at Kondratyev's if you agree to go with me to Modest.

5) Modest isn't far from Nizy.

6) I am at your disposal to do as you wish, but just warn me in good time.

There's no time to write. I've just arrived from the big wood and they're calling me for dinner.

I kiss you very hard.

Yours P. Tchaikovsky

I'll probably receive your initial response to the letter in which I was going to Kondratyev's in Nizy, but I'll wait for an answer from my letter from three days ago, in which I ask you whether or not you want to go to Modest.

Whereupon, I hug you warmly, my golubchik.

Yours, P. Tchaikovsky
