Ukolovo

Ukolovo (Уколово) is a village in the Zolotukhino district (Золотухинский уезд) of Kursk oblast (Курская область).
During Tchaikovsky's lifetime it was part of the Shigry district (Щигровский уезд) in the Kursk province (Курская губерния) in the Russian Empire.

The composer stayed at the home of his brother Nikolay ("Kolya") at Ukolovo twice during the early 1890s:
