I've really missed you. On Saturday morning I'll be in Moscow and staying until Monday morning. I'll call on you on Saturday afternoon. In the evening please join me at Sofya Ivanovna's. On Sunday I'll have dinner with you or at the restaurant, and in the evening we'll go to the theatre. I know that this is a day devoted for relatives, but let us make an exception, because my relatives are still in Moscow, and you won't see me all winter [1]. (You say: so much the better that this chump won't be pestering us or eating with us.)

So, until we meet! I kiss you both.

P. Tchaikovsky
