P. Tschaikovsky |
Florence 22 February 1890 Dear and most respected Maestro!
While reminding your benevolent memory of myself, allow me to recommend to you Madame Muromtsov-Klimentov, a most distinguished singer, who delivers this letter to you. I venture to ask you, Maestro, to be willing to grant her your patronage; she is worthy in every respect and and I hope that you will recognise the justness of my appreciation once you have become acquainted with her [1]. I beg you to accept, great Maestro, the expression of my deep respect. P. Tchaikovsky |
Notes and References
- ↑ This letter of recommendation was enclosed with Letter 4030 to Mariya Klimentova-Muromtseva of the same date, but evidently she never presented it to Ambroise Thomas.
